Duke & Miss Funke
Security

The Duke of Cambridge and his sister, Miss Funke, joined the clinic in 2020, just before the pandemic. They are very friendly and will often come over for cuddles and attention. They can frequently be found lounging on their cushion downstairs and contribute very little in terms of treatment!

They are especially good with anxious patients and children, and usually only attend the Marlborough clinic with their owner, Hannah. Of course, should any client prefer not to interact with Duke or Funke, they can be moved to the storage suite (upstairs and out of the way).

You will be asked at the time of booking whether you are comfortable with dogs being around, just to ensure everyone feels at ease.

Mr/s Ducktington
Front of house

Mr and Mrs Ducktington are very recent additions to the Marlborough clinic. They waddled over in March 2023 and, thanks to constant feeding and care, they seem to have made the front of the clinic their new work environment.

They are not at all aggressive and, in fact, tend to be quite shy. We hope that, over time, they’ll become more comfortable seeing and interacting with our clients.
